St. Paul’s Higher Sec School, Dimapur is established and run by the Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (SABS). SPHSS was blessed and inaugrated on 23rd January 1978 by Mr. I. K Chankija, the the ADC of Dimapur. The School was opened with 2 Classrooms, three sisters and 60 students. Mother ROse was the first headmistress. Today the enrollment of the school is around 2000 with 68 staff. In 1991 the first batch of students appeared the matric examination. The school was upgraded to higher secondary in the year 2006 with both Arts and Science streams. The first batch of students appeard their examination in the year 2008. The result of Class X and XII examinations are outstanding till date.
The primary aim of St. Paul Hr Sec School, Dimapur is to impart sound formation (religious, mental, moral, social and physical) based on the principles of Christian faith. It contributes its share to the Catholic Church's effort to share in the country's educational undertaking in keeping its motto. The school expects its stff and students to be shining exampels of love, sacrifice and service which will mould them into good and responsible citizens of the country. The constant effort of the well trained staff is to develop the indicidual personality of each pupil and to bring all the talents and qualities to full maturity.
